So, if you’ve made it this far, it probably means you’re curious people. In that case, let me tell you about my previous incarnation—as an animator.
Here’s how it happened: after graduating from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design (Visual Communication) in 2003, I decided to follow what had captivated me most during my four years living in Jerusalem—animation. I went on to study at the Israeli Animation College (IAC), specializing in 3D animation, which was what the industry demanded at the time.
From that point on, I met incredible, generous people who accompanied me throughout my career—nearly 15 years of creating in the biggest studios in the country, alongside the very best. I worked on commercials, children’s TV series, video games, and even full-length animated films. Over the years, I was an animator, team leader, department head, director, mentor… but mostly, I was everyone’s mom.
Now that I’m older—and this world is full of young people and artificial intelligence—I’m proud to say I was one of the prominent names of the second generation of Israeli animation.
Fifteen years—alongside a wedding and three maternity leaves—filled with pride, joy, inspiration, playfulness, creativity, friendship, exploration, learning, laughter, and discovery. I even have an IMDb page! Quite a life.
I’m sharing here my final animation portfolio from 2018, along with a few selected projects I worked on. Search them on YouTube—you might even find my name there.
So who do we have here? The pigeons of "Bituah Yashir", the lottery balls, Bezeq's parrot, Leumit's stork and "Hamudi". There were also commercials abroad with elephants making French fries, creatures making love with Coca-Cola, videos for a blood sugar testing device, pitches for computer games, VR of dinosaurs for an amusement park, animations for websites, for Cisco...
In the series segment, there was "Billy Bam Bam", "Charlie and the Numbers", "Alphablocks", Mattel's "Barbie Dreamtopia", Disney's "Star Darlings", and of course Disney's "Muppet Babies". There was also Anipop, Monkey See Monkey Do, and a few others I've forgotten, but the first and most massive project was "Vipo the Flying Dog" - two seasons and a movie that determined the fates of entire Israeli studios.
In films, I was the lead animator on "Abulele", which was really fun. There were a few other films that we did animations for here and there.
Pretty crazy now that I read the list...
