My own open studio

July brought with it a huge relief - a long and grueling year of work came to an end, my first year as a certified Art Therapist. A year in which I understood a lot about who and what I am, I learned a lot about taking care of patients and taking care of myself. I came a little closer to understanding the limits of my ability (I still don't recognize them, but I'm getting closer). I struggled, I initiated, I activated, I rescued, I lifted, I fought, and I most definitely got exhausted.
In July I celebrated freedom with art. Lots of art.
I built a studio on the balcony. I used the expertise of my Niva, who I love, and together we set up a magnificent open studio. I tried to advertise, to get people to come, but I'm really bad at marketing and somehow I was happy to have my own studio.
What a wonderful feeling! To walk through the door and enter Narnia's closet, an abundance of materials, arranged in a messy way in their spaces, living together in a pleasant neighborhood and chatting endlessly with each other. To come, knock, ask if possible, then enter and visit, touch, listen, feel who wants to come play with me.
And then - painting, splashing, exploring, breathing, experiencing... life.
My lovely studio!
And some pictures from the workshops:
